Boston School of English help Colombian students complete their thesis
As part of their English for Specific Purposes, Boston School of English partnered with Catholic University in Bogota, Colombia to offer 20 of their students from the department of engineering, an English immersion program with a focus on public transportation systems in Boston. This specialized program was part of their research topic to help students complete their thesis.
Students were invited to visit the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) main operation control centre and participated in many specifically tailored presentations from engineers at the MBTA as well as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
In addition, students in the engineering program participated in cultural immersion activities visiting museums, touring the city, making friends, and living the experience! Watch what some students said about their experience by clicking here.
