Emerald Cultural Institute is proud to introduce an exciting new update to our general English and Academic Year programmes for our students: allowing them to learn English and master 21st Century Life Skills in the same class. This is integrated language learning.
Based on research compiled by a number of international bodies, including the World Economic Forum and the Council of Europe, we have identified the need to provide our English language students with a unique opportunity to develop key soft skills while improving their competence in English. This will increase their employability in today's workforce.
Using a unique syllabus developed in-house by Emerald's expert academic team, all of our students will learn skills such as:
- Critical thinking
- Time management
- Problem solving
Students from B1 to C1 levels on any of Intensive English courses will have 16 hours a week of language development and 4 hours per week of workshops in soft skills and professional development, including presentation and networking skills.
